Zoning Board approves residential relief in four cases
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of September 9, 2026
Salem Zoning Board approves four residential relief permits in September session. Chair Nina Vyedin led the board in unanimously approving special permits for residential additions at three properties and a variance for a residential subdivision, with all four petitions passing four to zero. The board continued a complex Cedar Street proposal involving historic house relocation and lot subdivision to October 21 following extensive public comment about parking, traffic, and neighborhood density concerns.
A 75 North Street mixed-use amendment petition was also continued to September 16 for publication correction.
