Salem Zoning Board approves six development petitions in single meeting. Acting Chair Ellen Simpson presided over unanimous 5-0 votes approving special permits for a specialty food and gourmet shop conversion at 11 Vinnin Street, an accessory dwelling unit at 17 Lincoln Road to allow aging in place, a variance adding two units to 278 Lafayette Street, two additions to a three-family house at 6 Lawrence Street, a dormer at 12 Varney Street, and front staircase reconstruction plus rear addition at 35 Irving Street. The board continued Amy Pelletier's two-story shed proposal at 61 Memorial Drive to July 15, requesting revised site plans and clarification on design.
