Public Art Commission accepts Rousseau family artwork into city collection

Salem Public Art Commission accepts Rousseau family artwork for permanent collection. The commission voted unanimously to designate two larger paintings from the Rousseau Family Trust as additions to the city's permanent public art collection, with supporting materials archived for research and educational context. Commission Chair Jim Bostick volunteered to assist with installation and preservation of the artwork.

The FY2027 preliminary budget was approved, allocating approximately ten thousand dollars for 400+ Sculpture installation and five thousand dollars for Hell's Mural signage, approximately six feet by nine feet.
