Salem Historical Commission approves five property certificates. The August 19 meeting approved renovation of 14 Kosciusko Street requiring cedar clapboard replacement and Pella Reserve 2-over-2 windows; commercial signage at 142 Derby Street with glazed glass window restoration; paint colors for 1A Cambridge Street; and downspout installation at 2 Broad Street. The commission also continued three applications: EV charger installation at 41 Chestnut Street, solar panels at 1A Cambridge Street, and electric meters at 5 Orne Square, pending site visit.
