SALEM — Planning Board approves subdivision waiver, continues major projects. The Salem Planning Board approved a subdivision waiver for The Infinity Group Investments, LLC at 25 Bow Street, allowing property division without meeting full Ord Street frontage requirements. The board endorsed an ANR plan for the property on votes of 7-0, with Elena Eimert recused.

The board continued hearings for Harborlight Homes' 53-unit affordable housing project with a 70-bed shelter; a medical office conversion at 59 Boston Street, referred to the Design Review Board; and a Walmart Spark program renovation at 440 Highland Avenue. The board voted 7-1 to continue a 75 North Street floodproofing project, with Thomas Furey voting against over pedestrian safety and flood insurance concerns.
