Waterfront ferry terminal and roadway improvements approved

Salem Conservation Commission approves two waterfront and roadway projects. On June 16, the Commission voted 4-0 to approve a standard Order of Conditions for the Salem Harbor Port Authority's new ferry terminal at 10 Blaney Street, a 3,772-square-foot replacement for a temporary 2010 structure that will reduce impervious surface by 2,302 square feet. The Commission also voted 4-0 to grant design waivers and issue standard conditions for pedestrian and stormwater improvements along Salem Street between Chase and Lafayette Streets.
A multifamily residential project at Salem State's south campus was continued to July 1, pending submission of updated civil engineering plans.
