Salem neighborhood council receives winter storm operations briefing. The Neighborhood Improvement Advisory Council voted 5-0-2 on January 14 to approve its December 2025 minutes, with Mira Riggin moving and Dennis Colbert seconding approval. Ray Jodoin, Director of Public Services, presented details on winter operations across Salem's more than 100 miles of public streets, covering preparation, plowing, salt and ice control, and sidewalk accessibility, with residents able to contact the city at snow@salem.com during emergencies.

Eight neighborhood associations reported on local matters, and the city announced receiving the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the 17th consecutive year from the Government Finance Officers Association.
