Licensing Board approves six applications, defers entertainment venue

Salem Licensing Board approves six applications for vendor markets and entertainment venues. All six approvals passed unanimously on January 12, including three one-day liquor licenses for approximately 485 attendees, two vendor markets with 51 total vendors, and a DJ entertainment amendment. The board continued an entertainment license for MOON (Music Organizers of the North Shore) at 24 New Derby Street, directing City Solicitor Beth Rennard to verify building codes and establish noise limits.

Two fortunetellers licenses were withdrawn, and one liquor license application was tabled due to applicant absence.
