Bicycling & Shared Path Advisory Committee · Meeting of July 1, 2026
Salem Bicycling Committee elects leadership, delegates street-plan review. The committee unanimously elected John Wathne as Chair and Josiah Guthrie as Vice Chair while voting to delegate its review of the Complete Streets Prioritization Plan to a subgroup meeting July 13. The committee raised concerns that the plan does not adequately represent its values on bicycle infrastructure advocacy.
The committee also voted to change its regular meeting time to 6:15 p.m., effective in August, and announced it would resume in-person meetings with remote participation.
