Trust Fund Board OKs $139,000 for cemetery study

Salem Trust Fund Board approves cemetery study funding and revises grant process. The Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds authorized a $139,000 transfer on January 15, 2026, to the city for a market rate study and development of standard operating procedures for Greenlawn Cemetery. The Board also unanimously approved two routine fund requests: $361.46 from the Endicott Fund for Council on Aging medication expenses and $288.45 from the Administration Fund for letterhead.
Board member Ashley Judge presented a revised Large Grant Form for fiscal year 2027, which the Board approved for distribution to applicant organizations.
