SRA amends conditions for 50 million dollar El Centro project

Salem Redevelopment Authority approves outdoor dining, advances 50 million dollar health center project. The Authority unanimously approved outdoor dining expansion at East India Square for Not Ya Mama's Vegan Café, including five black metal tables with one wheelchair-accessible table. The Authority also unanimously approved the final landscaping design for the El Centro health center project at 73 Lafayette Street, incorporating native plantings and utility screening, and unanimously amended demolition conditions enabling the 50 million dollar project to close in September or October and begin construction after Halloween.
