Salem Zoning Board approves bed and breakfast petition, continues four

Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of April 15, 2026

Salem Zoning Board approves three petitions on April 15, continuing four to May. The board granted a variance and special permit to Jeremy Schwartz and Shelby Soloff for a six-guest-room bed and breakfast at 25 Washington Square North with two on-site and at least three off-site parking spaces instead of eight required. The board also approved variances and special permits for a rear addition at 102 Margin Street and an automobile storage facility at 33-37 Osborne Street.

Four petitions were continued to May 6 due to late runtime, including a 25 Bow Street case involving lot subdivision with unresolved abutter privacy concerns.
