Salem School Committee adopts $81.7M spending plan for next fiscal year. The 4.6-percent budget increase of $81,755,368 incorporates $1.7 million in savings from the December merger of Carlton and Saltonstall schools into Sarah Parker Remond School. Interim Superintendent M.
