Salem Scholarship and Education Committee approves 2026 awards timeline. Chair Yamilis Cruz and the committee unanimously approved the scholarship application plan with applications opening in February and closing April 26 at 11:59 p.m. Committee review and voting is scheduled for May 4 at 6:30 p.m., with Awards Night tentatively May 14 or May 21.
As of January 5, the Education Fund held $16,078.95 and the Scholarship Fund held $6,122.71.
