Salem Records 15 Property Transfers as Prices Range to $720,000
Salem recorded 15 property transfers between July 24 and Aug. 22, according to Essex County Southern District Registry of Deeds data. Seven transactions disclosed a sale price, ranging from $375,000 to $720,000, with a median of $485,000. The top recorded sale was 15 1/2 River St at $720,000, followed by 114 Margin St Un 2 at $710,000. Eight of the 15 transfers, including several apparent transfers into a family trust, listed no sale price. The data shows no sale above $1 million and does not support a characterization of the market as especially active or slow.
