Salem Home Sales Span $374,000 To $850,000 In Late-August Deed Filings
Salem recorded 15 property sales between July 31 and Aug. 29, with disclosed prices ranging from $374,000 to $850,000 and a median of $717,500 among the 10 sales that listed a price. The month's top sale was 24 Mason St at $850,000, sold by Carlos Garcia to Ircania C. Valera. Mason Street and Washington Street each saw two sales. Condominium units made up the majority of transfers, and three of the five undisclosed-price sales involved a seller and buyer sharing the same name or affiliated entity, consistent with family or trust transfers. The data shows a moderate-volume period with no sales exceeding $850,000.
