Salem Home Sales Range From $326,150 to $945,000 in Late Summer Deed Filings
Salem recorded 15 property sales between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, with 12 disclosing a price ranging from $326,150 to $945,000 and a median of $636,000. The period's top sale was 5 Daniels St. at $945,000, sold by Janet L. McLaughlin, trustee, to Dana Jensen. Essex Street had two sales, the only street with more than one recorded transaction. Seven of the 15 transfers were condominium units, and three involved a buyer and seller sharing the same last name with no price disclosed. No sale in the period topped $1 million, and the data shows no basis for a statewide comparison.
