Salem approves $644,000 for Greenlawn Cemetery projects

Salem board approves $644,000 for Greenlawn Cemetery renovation and improvement projects. The Board of Trust Fund Commissioners unanimously approved $124,000 for Dickson Chapel Restoration and $520,000 for a Planned Improvement Project from the Dickson Chapel, Meldon Trust, and Perpetual Care Trust funds, with Director of Public Services Raymond J. Jodoin set to disburse funds as projects advance.
The board also unanimously approved $318.28 for Council on Aging medication assistance from the Endicott Fund. Nine FY27 Large Grant Proposals totaling $80,500 were reviewed but will be voted on at the June meeting.
