SALEM — Planning Board approved flood-proofing site plan for 75 North Street residential building. The board voted 8-0 to approve the Coastal Resilience Overlay District site plan review for the multifamily building at 75 North Street, 3 South Mason Street, and 2 Commercial Street. However, City Planner Claudia Cunningham noted that the city's Engineering Department must separately approve the below-grade sewer line relocation location before a building permit can be issued.
The board also voted unanimously to refer a proposed 4,400-square-foot car wash facility at 370-382 Highland Avenue to the Design Review Board after hearing resident concerns about traffic circulation and use of Savona Street.
