SALEM — School Committee Personnel Subcommittee approves Associate Principal roles. The three-member subcommittee, led by Chair Beth Anne Cornell with members Veronica Miranda and AJ Hoffman, unanimously approved job descriptions for elementary and secondary Associate Principal positions. The same vote, also unanimous, approved inclusion of these positions in the Salem Administrators Association recognition clause, formalizing their union status.

The actions followed a two-hour executive session addressing collective bargaining strategy with the Salem Administrators Association and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
