Salem Harbor Port Authority secures $1.4 million in state funding for ferry terminal. Daniel Collins, Planning Department, reported the Seaport Economic Development Council grant will support design, development, and permitting through fiscal 2028, with funds distributed over three years. The Authority received updates on the Salem 400 art project, with eight proposals considered and five selected for concept development by month's end at 10 Blaney Street.
Captain Bill McHugh reported the commercial marina licenses RFP will post Monday, February 9th, and the operation enters its final year under the current BHC ferry charter agreement.
