Salem senior center kitchen renovation targets late July completion. The Council on Aging Board heard from Facilities Director Michael Crounse that the Levesque Community Life Center kitchen renovation is on schedule, with demolition beginning June 23 and targeted completion of July 26. Funding for the project is secured.
Director Teresa Gove Arnold reported that the mayor authorized the board to issue a Request for Proposal for kitchen operations management. Two part-time temporary positions will bridge the service until the contract takes effect. The board approved its May meeting minutes unanimously.
