Salem Council on Aging Board approves April minutes, updates housing relocation. Resident Service Coordinator Alicia Muzarol reported that ten residents have moved into the renovated Lee Fort Terrace complex, with 28 more in process; the 140-unit building includes 50 senior-designed units and a grandfathered tenant association. Director Teresa Gove Arnold documented 188 clients served 435 times in April on health insurance, housing, and public benefits; the morning cafe generated 3,993 dollars from August 2025 through May 2026.
Chair Lynda Coffill confirmed participation in three parades and planned August 5 Senior Day with a one-thousand-dollar grant application to Eastern Bank.
