SALEM — Conservation Commission approves city seawall repair project, continues two major developments. The Commission issued an Order of Conditions for the City of Salem's in-kind seawall repair and erosion restoration at 485 Lafayette Street, incorporating Division of Marine Fisheries recommendations and requiring Licensed Site Professional documentation. Two major projects were continued to May 19: AvalonBay's multi-family residential development at Salem State South Campus and a seawall replacement and deck construction at 37 March Street.
The Commission also amended conditions for a 4 Franklin Street ambulance facility redevelopment, which now includes a stormwater management system reducing impervious surface coverage from 100 percent to 30 percent.
