SALEM — Board of Assessors votes on 25 FY2026 tax abatement requests. The Board voted to deny 21 requests for real estate and personal property tax abatements while approving four others at its February 12 meeting, according to official minutes. Among the denied requests was a 15-property appeal from attorney James F.
Sullivan, Esq., covering multiple condominium units at 9 Pickering Way and properties on Wharf Street, Highland Avenue, Derby Street, Congress Street, and Herbert Street. The board granted abatements for Leslie Blair, Thomas Talbot, David L. Katz, DMD, and David Zocco.
